About Cunningham

Cunningham was named for pioneer settler J.D. Cunningham. It grew up a few miles west of an older town called Ninnescah, and when residents started moving buildings over in 1887 and 1888, a tornado finished off what was left of Ninnescah. Cunningham was incorporated in 1908.
