US-77 Through Douglass Onsite Truck Repair

US-77 runs through Douglass, north to Augusta, where it meets US-54 and US-400, and south through Rock to Winfield. K-15 is about 9 miles south. It is a two-lane highway with heavy truck traffic between Wichita and Cowley County, and not much shoulder in places, so tell our dispatcher if you are stopped somewhere tight.

About Douglass

Douglass was first settled in 1869 and named for Joseph W. Douglass, a storekeeper who was shot at the town site in 1873 while trying to catch a suspected chicken thief. The Santa Fe branch line reached town in 1881, and today US-77 carries the freight that the railroad once did.

Freight Along the Corridor

US-77 links Douglass to Newell Brands' Rubbermaid operations in Winfield, about 19 miles south, a manufacturing and distribution campus of nearly 2.8 million square feet.

Roadside Repairs

We handle mobile brake repair, EGR and DPF repair and truck electrical repair, plus tires and air leaks. If a truck needs a shop, heavy towing is provided through our sister company, Arrow Wrecker Service. Call 316-260-5797.
