About Galva

In 1855 Charles O. Fuller set up a ranch at the Running Turkey Creek crossing of the Santa Fe Trail, about two miles south of present-day Galva. Fuller's Ranch served trail travelers and was probably the first white settlement in McPherson County. A marker stands nearby today.
